Vero Beach Pirate Fest – July 31st – August 2nd, 2015

This 3-day, family friendly event, features pirate bands and performers, living history pirate encampments, pirate weapon displays, mermaids, costume contests, a little buccaneer kids zone, nautical, pirate themed and arts & crafts vendors, boating, camping and marine salvaging exhibits, live music, and an adult’s 18 and older Pirate’s Ball on Friday evening. In addition it will feature world famous treasure hunters, historians, artists, authors and an abundance of pirate enthusiasts that will converge to share their stories and displays depicting pirate lore and the never ending quest for gold.

The Vero Beach Pirate Festival was designed to bring the community together over the historical significance regarding the loss of the 1715 Treasure Fleet, and to celebrate the reason why this area is now called “The Treasure Coast”. This festival is truly “300 Years in the Making”

While at the festival indulge yourself in some delectable seafood dishes, tasty libations, frozen treats and delicious cuisine from hand selected vendors and gourmet food trucks.

Festival hours are; Friday 2pm to 8pm, Saturday 10am to 8pm and Sunday10am to 4pm.

The Vero Beach Pirate Festival is held under the shade of 300 year old oak trees at beautiful Riverside Park.

Admission is free though a voluntary $2.00 “Buck N Ear” contribution is greatly appreciated.

The Vero Beach Pirate Festival is produced and hosted by POTTC Events and theVero Beach Chamber of Commerce, a 501(c)(6) non profit organization.
