Update on unidentified body discovered on a vacant lot in Fellsmere
Fellsmere, Fl – A medical examination was conducted on the body found in the vicinity of N. Willow Street and New York Avenue.
According to Medical Examiner personnel, the body is estimated to have been at this location for approximately three to six weeks and the race and gender of the person are still undetermined. No signs of trauma were observed on the body.
FPD Investigators are conducting interviews in the community and with businesses to determine any additional leads while they wait on the toxicology report and for other evidence to be processed.
The Fellsmere Police Department has no active missing person cases.
