Two more resign from SFWMD

West Palm Beach, Fl- Last week, Governor Ron DeSantis asked the entire South Florida Water Management Board to resign. Now, two have officially done so. Dan O’Keefe and Carlos Diaz both informed the governor they would honor his request and step down. One other member of the board had already stepped down prior to DeSantis’ request. That leaves 6 members of the 9 person board still active, four of which have said they will refuse to resign. Brandon Tucker, a real estate broker from Martin County who has been on the board since 2017, is one of the board members who have said they will not step down.
