TWO MEMBERS OF BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF ST. LUCIE COUNTY WIN ESSAY CONTEST
SAINT LUCIE COUNTY, FL – Thanks to Coca-Cola Beverages Florida, two members of the Garden Terrace Unit of the Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County (BGCSLC) are riding new bikes.
The two, Breana H, age 9, and Mia M., age 12, wrote the winning essays in a contest run by the Club. As winners, they received bicycles donated by Coca Cola Beverages Florida. Their essays were on the subject, “What the Boys & Girls Clubs Mean to Me.”
“Being at this Club is a great opportunity,” Mia wrote. She added that to her, the Clubs means friendship, cooperation and happiness. “For instance,” she continued,” when I go to the Boys & Girls Club, I just feel joy and happiness in my heart, especially when my friends arrive.”
