Two Fires in SLC over the weekend.

Firefighters say four people are left without a home after a late night fire consumed their residence. The St. Lucie County Fire District responded to the late night call on North 13th Street in Fort Pierce. Crews were able to extinguish the blaze in under 30 minutes. The cause of the fire is under investigation. The Red Cross is assisting the three men and one female who were displaced by the fire.

One person is recovering from injuries after flames erupted on a boat. The St. Lucie County Fire District arrived at the scene on Savona Boulevard in Port St. Lucie around 9:30 Sunday morning. The boat was on land when the fire broke out. Crews were able to put out the flames. The person injured was taken to a local hospital in serious condition. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
