Stuart carjacking suspect arrested in Daytona Beach
Stuart, Fl (treasurecoast.com)- The Stuart Police have reported that a carjacking suspect was arrested in Daytona Beach.
This is what they said:
On March 20, 2022, Jarod Hutchins committed a carjacking at the Chase Bank located at 2280 SE Federal Highway.
After a thorough investigation the victim’s vehicle was located in Miami Beach, Florida. Stuart Police Det. Joe Calderone was able to identify Hutchins as the suspect in the case.
On May 13, 2022, With assistance from the Martin County Sheriff’s Office Warrants & Fugitive Unit and the U.S. Marshal’s Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force, Hutchins was located and arrested in Daytona.
Hutchins is currently being held in jail for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and carjacking on a $500,000 bond.
