Tropical disturbance pops up in Atlantic
An area of tropical disturbance has popped up in the Atlantic, in a reminder that Hurricane season isn’t technically over until the end of the month. A large area of clouds and thunderstorms east of the Leeward Islands is moving towards the southern Bahamas and Florida, and could turn into either a tropical, or subtropical, cyclone by the middle of the week. The National Hurricane Center says the storm has about a 70-percent chance of developing over the next five days.
