The coronavirus is responsible for 19 more deaths in Florida since yesterday. The Department of Health announced the state’s death toll is now one-thousand-74. There are now more than 31-thousand cases statewide. The governor is citing a positive trend in coronavirus testing.

Before the governor reopens the state, he wants to hear from you.The Re-Open Florida Task Force launched a public comment submission portal on Saturday. The task force is seeking public feedback on their ideas regarding the safe re-opening of Florida’s economy. It appears that Walt Disney World will be closed for the rest of the year. The Los Angeles Time reports that UBS, a Swiss bank, has informed its clients that Disney will likely wait until January 1st, 2021 to reopen its North American parks.

Florida’s banks are taking unprecedented steps to help customers impacted by the COVID-19 crisis

Florida Bankers Association President and CEO Alex Sanchez told the Re-Open Florida Task Force that Floridians have full access to their money. This is even though many bank lobbies are closed. He also said banks are ready to partner again with the Small Business Administration to deliver billions of dollars in loans after President Trump signed another small business aid bill.

Shop owners in rural counties without large reported outbreaks of the coronavirus are ready to reopen. The state’s top business regulator said today they’ll operate under new sanitation and physical distancing guidelines.
