Treasure Coast Veterans Day Events

TreasureCoast, Fl (TreasureCoast.com)- Several events are planned for Veterans Day today. In Stuart the annual parade will begin at 10am, starting at Amerigo Avenue and ending at Memorial Park with a program at the Veterans Memorial there. In Port St Lucie a service will begin at 11am along Veterans Memorial Parkway.

If you are driving in the area expect delays, and strongly consider taking an alternate route. The service is expected to be done by 1. And in Fort Pierce, another ceremony is planned for Veterans Memorial Park along Indian River Drive. The ceremony begins at 11am and is expected to be about an hour long.

In honor of Veterans Day, the Veterans Council of Indian River County invites the community to attend a Veterans Day Ceremony Monday, November 11th, 2019 at 8:45am on Veterans Memorial Island Sanctuary in Vero Beach’s Riverside Park. This event is
free to the public. Ample parking is available at Riverside Park, with
the Veterans Council providing a complimentary shuttle to and from the overflow parking lot. Please remember to bring your lawn chair to enjoy this ceremony honoring our veterans. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will take place at Vero Beach High
School Performing Arts Center.
