Treasure Coast High School Football Update Nov 18 2019

Another great game Friday night between Treasure Coast and Vero Beach in the high school football regional semifinals. When the two teams met during the regular season, the game went to overtime where Vero won 31-30. Treasure Coast led early, but a bad snap on a punt deep in their own territory led to a safety, and gave Vero Beach their first lead of the day. A late TD by Tyler Wrenn gave Vero some breathing room, and they held on to win 22-14. The touchdown by Wrenn was just his second of the season. His first a 95-yard punt return last week in the regional quarterfinals. Can you say Mr. November? Vero Beach advances to the regional finals on Friday. They’ll play Deerfield Beach, who upset Palm Beach Central 44-6.
