Treasure Coast High School Football Update
TreasureCoast, Fl-Week 6 of the high school football season is in the books. Vero Beach jumped out to a 12-0 halftime lead, but St Lucie West Centennial refused to go away in the 2nd half. The Eagles scored a TD in the 3rd quarter to make it a 5-point game. Vero kicked a field goal to go back up by 8, but Centennial would score again in the 4th quarter. The two point conversion was no good however, and Vero held on to win 15-13. In other games, Westwood scored two defensive touchdowns to beat South Fork 42-0, Jensen Beach scored three touchdowns in the 2nd quarter to beat Suncoast 29-2, Treasure Coast shut out Fort Pierce Central 31-0, and Port St Lucie lost to Clewiston 36-13. Coming up this Friday, we’ll be at Martin County as the Tigers host Fort Pierce Central. You can listen live on both WPSL and WSTU.
