High school football tonight, it’s the playoffs! Five local teams are in. Three will be hosting games, while two are on the road. Treasure Coast is 8-1 on the season. They had a bye week last week, so should be well rested as they head on the road to take on 7-2 Santaluces. Centennial is also on the road. The Eagles are 5-4 on the year, but a brutal schedule gave them enough points in the new ranking system to make the playoffs as the 7th seed. They are taking on 8-2 Palm Beach Central. Undefeated Vero Beach is hosting 8-2 Boca Raton, whose defense has allowed more than two touchdowns just three times this year. Fort Pierce Westwood is 7-2 and is hosting a playoff game for the 3rd straight year. They get 7-3 Charlotte tonight. Jensen Beach is hosting its first ever playoff game. They face off against Killian. Both schools are 8-2 this year. Most of the games will kickoff at 7:30.
