Tracy James Justice arrested 44 counts of child pornography, 205 video voyeurism.
Justice used covertly placed cameras to actively record two children without their knowledge.
Sheriff Ken Mascara announced that Tracy James Justice, was arrested Thursday night and charged with 44 counts of production of child pornography, 100 counts of possession of child pornography and 205 counts of video voyeurism.
According to the Sheriff, James was originally arrested on March 14 and charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography and five counts of distribution of child pornography.
“Based on the continued investigation by our detectives and the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, it was determined that in addition to more than 100 pornographic images of children on his computer, Justice used covertly placed cameras to actively record two children without their knowledge.” Sheriff Mascara said.
“Our detectives recognized these two children were in danger of further victimization and acted swiftly to arrest Justice ensuring their safety,” said Sheriff Ken J. Mascara.
According to the Sheriff, some of the images and videos of the two children were pornographic in nature. The investigation is still ongoing to determine if the files captured by Justice were disseminated over the Internet.
“Stopping predators like this in our community is a fundamental commitment of mine and this agency,” Sheriff Mascara said. “Deviants such as this steal the innocence of children and must be stopped.”
At this point in the investigation, there is no reason to believe Justice recorded any other victims. However, if have information that might lead investigators to other individuals victimized by Justice, please contact detectives at (772) 462-3230.
Justice was booked into the St. Lucie County Jail with a bond of $2,822,500.
