Fort Pierce, FL:  The Toy Drive Block Party #TDBP2018, in downtown Fort Pierce on December 8 will featuring “Samples with Santa” to the first 100 attendees, has a talent line up not to be missed.  Young performers from B’Nerdz with Club Pure, Boys & Girls Clubs at WestGate K-8 and Chuck Hill, C.A.S.T. Academy, PACE Center for Girls, Heather HERO Wells, and others will be featured throughout the day during the block party.  “It was always my intention to make the kid’s shine,” said Jose Ruiz, event Founder and owner of LeGit Cuts Barbershop on Second Street in Fort Pierce.  “We started small with only 2 groups, and now we have kids from around the county who want to participate and be involved.  I love spotlighting these kids.  They’re the best.” Ruiz further added.

After a presentation of colors at 12:00 p.m., DJ 1 1 will kick off the music while attendees sample tacos and pizza from Casa Azteca and Crafted Pie.  Afterwards, cupcakes from Food Network featured local baker, Staci Dunn the Cake Lady.  In addition, Sailfish Brewery will be giving away samples to guests 21 and older.  Talent starts hitting the stage at 1:00 and will last until 5:00 p.m.

Let the kids enjoy the bounce house, face painter, arts and crafts, or pics with Santa while you stroll through the vendor tables, visit local downtown businesses, and maybe even shop for your Christmas tree from HodgePodge Trees.  All of this for the price of an unwrapped toy for a local child in need.  Finally, raffles will be taking place every hour with generous items donated from around the county.

Sponsors at the 4th Annual Toy Drive Block Party include the Peter W. Busch Family Foundation, CenterState Bank, the VanDuzer Foundation, Flordia Center for Recovery, Last Dragon Tattoo, LeGit Cuts Barbershop, Sunrise City Café, Cosmic Barley, All Things Treasure Coast, the UPS Store 4314 at St. James, Casa Azteca, the Crafted Pie, Sailfish Brewery, the Cake Lady, and the City of Fort Pierce.  Sponsorships are available starting at only $100.  Vendor spaces are available for only $25.  100 per cent of the proceeds from the #TDBP2018 benefit teens and tweens in our local community as identified by Suncoast Mental Health Center case management and Mustard Seed Ministries.  These local non-profits are on the front lines of poverty and need in the community.
