Toxic Algae at our shores July 21 2017
A bright green algae bloom has been detected in Lake Okeechobee.
The algae blooms were found right off shore from Port Mayaca.
Jacqui Thurlow-Lippisch took a flight over the area with her husband pilot Ed Lippish. She released pictures of the bright green algae in the water.
The sample was sent to the DEP lab in Tallahassee. We know how that goes.
