Three-day COVID-19 vaccine clinic will begin Monday at the Havert L. Fenn Center

St.  Lucie County, Fl (treasurecoastt.com) -A three-day COVID-19 vaccine clinic will begin Monday at the Havert L. Fenn Center in Fort Pierce, according to St. Lucie County officials.

The 4,500 Pfizer doses available will be given by appointment only and with priority to those on the county’s online waitlist, which on Friday contained at least 30,000 people.

The vaccines are restricted to frontline health care workers and Florida residents — either year-round or seasonal — age 65 and older who have a state driver’s license, state identification or two forms of documents to prove residency.

Anyone who meets that criteria can join the waitlist through the Alert St. Lucie system at stlucieco.gov/alert or the health department website at stlucie.floridahealth.gov.

Another clinic, tentatively scheduled for Feb. 1-3, will be only for people who were vaccinated Jan. 9 at the fairgrounds and need their second shot.

Over 15,000 people in the county had been vaccinated as of Wednesday, according to the Florida Department of Health.
