TC Bull Riding Returns January 20th!
St. Lucie County, Fla- Dust off your cowboy boots. On Saturday, January
20th, The Peter W. Busch Family Foundation’s 13th Bull Riding Event returns
to the St. Lucie Fairgrounds. This high energy, thrill seeking, family
friendly event will leave you at the edge of your seat.
Drawing crowds from
the Treasure Coast and beyond, you will watch the thrills and spills as
courageous cowboys compete for top honors, attempting to stay on the bucking
bulls for the full 8-second ride. It’s intense, action-packed fun for the
whole family.
The event will take place at the St. Lucie Fairgrounds, located at 15601 W.
Midway Road, in Fort Pierce. Gates and concessions will open at 3pm, with
the opportunity for enthusiasts to enjoy women’s barrel racing at its
finest.
The Bull Riding event will begin at 7pm. Tickets are: General
Admission – $15 in advance / $20 at the gate. Midway Admission – $25 in
advance / $30 at the gate Premium Admission – $35 in advance / $40 at the
gate. No charge for children under 4.
After the action ends in the arena, fans don’t have to go straight home. The
bar will be open late for the night owls, enjoying music and dancing, from
one of South Florida’s finest, The Randy McNeely Band.
100% of the proceeds will be distributed to local non-profits through the
Peter W. Busch Family Foundation, which was created to support, enrich and
enhance our community.
The Peter W. Busch Family Foundation was formed 30 years ago in Ft Pierce.
Peter W. Busch believes in supporting initiatives that improve the quality
of health, education and family in his community, as well as, the
preservation of Florida’s indigenous animals and landscape. Peter’s belief
has been that “we all must give back to the very people who help keep us in
business and survive.”
Since 1984, Peter has owned Southern Eagle Distributing, the local
Anheuser-Busch distributor, and has made enormous strides in providing for
charitable causes. Aside from all that he has contributed, citizens within
our community view Mr. Busch and his family are ultimate givers, not only of
monetary/beverage donations, but of their time, hearts and mind.
