Take part in the Floresta Drive Improvement Project, Phase 2, Community Open House

What: The City of Port St. Lucie’s Public Works Department invites the public to attend an in-person open house Wednesday, Sept. 21 from 5 to 7 p.m. to discuss the Floresta Drive Improvement Project, Phase 2, extending from Elkcam Waterway to Crosstown Parkway.

Port St. Lucie, FL
Why: Representatives of the project team will be available to discuss details and answer questions. The Floresta Drive Improvement Project, Phase 2, is expected to begin in late September. Construction is anticipated to take approximately two years, with the two-lane roadway completed by Fall 2024.
The Floresta Drive Phase 2 Project is 1.7 miles from the Elkcam Waterway to Crosstown Parkway. The project will include bridge construction at the Elkcam Waterway Bridge. Additional features will include landscaping, lighting, sidewalks and bicycle lanes. The improvements will help provide traffic calming while preserving the integrity of the neighborhood. The project will advance safety, enhance bicycle movements, alleviate congestion and provide more efficient traffic flow.
This project, thanks to the voters of St. Lucie County and the City of Port St. Lucie, is funded by the Half-Cent Sales Tax referendum. Learn more at www.cityofpsl.com/salestax.
