On August 23, 2017 at 4:00 am, Port St. Lucie Police went to the 200 block of SW Pagoda Terrace for reports of a suspicious vehicle.  Once arriving at the scene police found a black BMW parked partially in the roadway with the doors open.  Upon further inspection police found Campanella sleeping in the driver’s seat of the car and Depass sleeping in the front passenger seat.

Police was able to wake Campanella who told officers that he did not know where he was. Then, they observed a smoking pipe with brown residue along with three small bags containing a brown substance, which tested positive for heroin.  Police also learned that Campanella had outstanding warrants out of Miami Dade County.

Continuing the investigation police woke Depass from her sleep.  Officers found a smoking pipe with brown residue next to where she was sitting.  Depass told officers that the pipe is hers and that she is addicted to heroin.

Campanella and Depass were arrested and taken to the St. Lucie County Jail for booking.
