Suspicious death was determined to be a suicide by PSLPD
Port St Lucie, Fl – Port St. Lucie Police investigated a suspicious death on SW Becker Road this morning.
On July 3, 2019 at around 7:20 am, Port St. Lucie Police went to the 200 block of SW Becker Road for reports of a deceased male found in a wooded lot.
Once on scene officers located the body of an unidentified black male, laying on the ground by the wooded lot, a few feet from the canal.
Crime scene investigators were on scene to determine if foul play was involved.
After speaking with the mother of the deceased, Port St. Lucie Detectives confirmed suicide by single gunshot wound to the head.
