Indian River County, Fl (treasurecoast.com)- A suspected drug dealer in Indian River County was arrested after being caught using the U.S. mail to move narcotics from city to city.

Here is the info from the Sebastian Police:

Last week our Special Investigations Unit (SIU) assisted The Department of Homeland Security and Investigations (HSI) with the takedown of a known drug dealer in our area. This known drug dealer was using the US mail to move his drugs from city to city. Our SIU Unit and HSI found this drug dealer was going to be picking up an unknown amount of illegal drugs at the Main Street Post Office and planned to stop him there. When the dealer arrived a traffic stop was attempted, but the suspect refused to stop for the officers. A short pursuit was initiated where officers had to use a PIT maneuver to get the vehicle stopped. After the suspect was taken into custody the list below is the drugs and other items that were found at the post office and other items that were on the suspect.
-79.9 grams of Fentanyl-Street Value $11,970
-14.6 grams Methamphetamine-Street Value $730
-1 gram Cocaine-Street Value $50
-$1,245.50 in US Currency
-1 Police Scanner, stolen credit cards, and various drug paraphernalia.
Another great job by our detectives, K9 Unit, and HSI!
