Suspect in vehicle burglaries escapes into storm drain
Jupiter, Florida (treasurecoast.com)-The Jupiter Police have reported that a suspect in vehicle burglaries has escaped through a storm drain.

Suspicious Person – Vehicle Burglaries
On Monday, January 23, 2023 at approximately 5:00 am, officers responded to the Woodland Estates community and surrounding areas in regards to a suspicious person and possible burglary to vehicle incidents.
JPD Officers were able to quickly locate the suspect, who immediately fled the area and entered a canal storm drain along Indiantown Road east of Center Street. JPD officers and a K9 Team are currently attempting to safely apprehend the suspect from the waterway.
The suspect is described as a black male wearing a black shirt.
