Suspect apprehended with stolen vehicle in Stuart
STUART POLICE PURSUE AND APPREHEND SUSPECT WITH WARRANT IN A STOLEN VEHICLE
Stuart Police Officer TJ Delancy noticed a wanted suspect in traffic near US 1 at Racetrac.
He attempted to stop the vehicle and the suspect refused to stop. Officer Delancy began to pursue the vehicle.
The pursuit ended at the on-ramp to 95 southbound.
The suspect was caught and is in custody. The name has not been released as of yet.
Suspect apprehended with stolen vehicle in Stuart. He has been identified as Gregory Wilkins. He’s facing charges of fleeing and eluding, operating a motor vehicle without a license and other traffic violations.
