Suicidal/homicidal man apprehended by  Sebastian Police and Indian River Sheriff

Sebastian, Fl (treasurecoast.com) – A suicidal/homicidal man  was apprehended by  Sebastian Police and Indian River Sheriff .

On 12/23/2021, the Sebastian Police was contacted by Palm Bay Police Department detectives in reference to an individual making homicidal and suicidal threats via text message who was armed with a rifle within Sebastian  city limits.

The subject’s vehicle was located in the 800 block of Gardenia Drive where a perimeter was established made up of Sebastian police officers and Indian River County deputies. After a short period, the subject entered his vehicle and attempted to leave the area when he was safely apprehended by the Sebastian Police Special Response Team.
