Stuart Police: Two reports of stolen firearms from unlocked cars

Stuart, Fl (treasurecoast.com)- Two firearms have been stolen from unlocked vehicles.

The Stuart Police Department says they have recently taken two reports of burglaries where a firearm was taken from unlocked vehicles. They urge all gun owners to not leave their firearms inside of their vehicles for an extended period of time, especially overnight. They ask that you bring it inside and secure it.

Also remember to lock your car doors at night and remove all valuables.
