Stuart, Fl- On Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at 10:50 pm. Stuart Police received a call after a passerby observed a male in the roadway attempting to flag down a vehicle in the area of Lowes Home Improvement. This Lowes is located at 3620 SE Federal Highway.
The male was described by the caller as being covered in blood.

Stuart Police quickly arrived on scene and found Jeremy James Uber, of Jensen Beach, lying in the roadway unconscious. Officers immediately began resuscitation efforts.

According to the Stuart Police the victim had been stabbed.

Mr. Uber was pronounced deceased upon arriving at Lawnwood Medical Center in Fort Pierce according to the Stuart Police.

Stuart Police Detectives investigated and Detectives were able to identify a suspect in the case. At 4:20 pm on Thursday, the suspect’s vehicle was located traveling on Jensen Beach Boulevard.

Robert Michael Magneson, of Jensen Beach, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder. He is being held at the Martin County Jail in lieu of a $750,000 bond.
