Stuart mayor declares local state of emergency
Stuart, Fl- City leaders in Stuart declared a local state of emergency following Governor Rick Scott’s executive order.
Stuart Mayor Kelli Glass Leighton signed the local declaration Monday night.
The city had previously posted Blue-Green Algae awareness signs along the downtown Riverwalk and riverfront.

After this happened our local media became very concerned and covered this issue in multiple articles asking the question “Why are there no signs?”
