Stuart Man gets 27 years for producing child porn.
A federal judge sentenced a 33-year-old Stuart man to 27 years Thursday for producing child pornography. Darrel Mark Babcock pleaded guilty to two counts of production of child pornography. He will be under supervised release for a lifetime. Then forced to register as a sex offender after his release.
A federal search warrant was executed on Babcock’s cell phone. This after an investigation into an alleged domestic disturbance incident. A forensic analysis of the phone revealed numerous videos of Babcock and a 16-year-old girl engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
