Stuart man arrested and charged after threatening tow truck driver with a gun
Stuart, Fl (treasurecoast.com)- A Stuart man was arrested and charged after threatening tow truck driver with a gun.
No one likes to have their car towed for sure but this is over the top!
This is what happened:
Henry Wilson, from Stuart, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, armed burglary, resisting without violence and improper exhibition of a firearm on 09/21/2022, by Stuart Police Officer Spugnardi.
Wilson’s vehicle was being towed from an apartment complex when he approached the tow truck driver. Wilson pointed a firearm at the tow truck driver and demanded the tow truck driver to release the vehicle.
The tow truck driver began to back away from Wilson in an attempt to avoid confrontation and called 9-1-1.
Several Stuart Police Officers arrived and were able to secure the scene, arrest Wilson, and recover the firearm successfully.
