Possible suspect identified in string of cryptic threatening messages written inside business restrooms.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office has identified a possible suspect and is working with local and federal authorities to initiate an arrest.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office would like to alert citizens to a string of incidents that took place at local businesses throughout the day yesterday.
Eight to ten businesses, mostly retail establishments, have reported that someone has gone into the public restrooms and wrote alarming but cryptic statements on the restroom walls and doors. One of the stores called for an evacuation of the establishment as a result of this vandalism.
