Stanley Steamer employee arrested for stealing customer prescription medications

Martin County, Fl- A Palm Beach County man was arrested and charged with theft and possession of a controlled substance after he admitted stealing prescription medication from two Martin County homes where he provided carpet cleaning services.

24-year old Bravo Trovato was employed by Stanley Steamer of Port St. Lucie for one day, when he admitted to helping himself to customer’s prescription medications on April 30th.

One of the victims lived in Hobe Sound. The second victim lived in Palm City.

Both customers hired Stanley Steamer of Port St. Lucie to clean their carpets.

In both cases, Trovato was the technician sent to do the work. Trovato’s employer confronted him about the thefts after receiving customer complaints on April 30th. He immediately told Trovato he would be subject to a drug test. It was then that Trovato admitted he did it.

The Stanley Steamer supervisor contacted the Martin County Sheriff’s Office on May 1st to report the theft. That is when Trovato confessed to detectives.

He was taken into custody and charged.
