St. Lucie County Public Safety Kicks Off Fundraising Efforts for the 2022 Chili Cook-Off
PORT ST. LUCIE – St. Lucie County’s Public Safety Department is kicking off its fundraising efforts for the 2022 Chili Cook-Off, benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County with a goal of raising more than $28,000 for the local non-profit.
Scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 22 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Clover Park, the theme for the 40th Annual Chili Cook-Off is “Explore the World.” For the past few years, St. Lucie County departments have volunteered to lead the Board of County Commissioners’ fundraising efforts, setting a new record each year. This year, the Public Safety staff wants to get an early advantage and has created a safe and secure online donation portal through Givesmart.com. Residents and businesses can donate by visiting: https://e.givesmart.com/events/rr5/c/:tHY5edh7Uhc.
Those who wish to donate in-person should plan on attending the 40th Annual Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, Oct. 22 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Clover Park, located at 31 Piazza Drive in Port St. Lucie. For more details, visit: https://bgcofslc.org/event/chili-cook-off.
