St. Lucie County Pools Open for the Summer

  1. LUCIE COUNTY – Due to a shortage of lifeguards and aquatics staff, St. Lucie County’s Parks & Recreation Department will be opening the three public pools with a limited capacity this summer to ensure the safety of the public, while we continue our search for lifeguards.

Ravenswood Pool, 400 SW Ravenswood Lane in Port St. Lucie / 772-871-2183

  • Open Swim: (June 7 – Aug. 7) Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday from 1 to 3 p.m.
  • Adult Lap and Fitness Swim: (June 7 – Aug. 7) Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6:30 to 8 a.m.
  • Swim Lessons: (June 7 – Aug. 7) Weekday mornings: 8:30, 9:15 and 10 a.m.; Evenings: 5:15, 6 and 6:45 p.m. Weekends: 8:30, 9:15 and 10 a.m.
  • Camp Swim by reservation only: (June 7 – Aug. 5) Monday – Friday from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Admission to Ravenswood, which includes the pool and splash pad, is $2.75 for ages 2 to 54; $1.50 for 55 and older (adult lap and fitness swim only). Children under 2 are free.

Arthur Lee Boatwright Pool, 1211 Avenue M, Fort Pierce / 772-462-1903 or 772-871-2183

  • Open Swim: (June 7 – Aug. 7) Sunday, Monday, Tuesday from 1 to 3 p.m.
  • Swim lessons: (June 12-22 and July 11-20)  5:15 and 6 p.m. evening sessions available.
  • Private Camp Swim by reservation only: (June 6 – Aug. 5) Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Admission to the Boatwright Pool is $1.50 for ages 2 and older. Children under 2 are free.

Lakewood Park Pool, 5990 Emerson Ave., Fort Pierce / 772-462-3772 or 772-871-2183

  • Open Swim: (June 6 – Aug. 7) Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 1 to 3 p.m.
  • Adult Lap and Fitness Swim (June 6 – Aug. 7) Tuesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Swim lessons: June 27 – July 6: Morning 8:15, 9:15 and 10 a.m.; July 25 – Aug. 3 and Aug. 8 – 17: Evening 5:15, 6 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. Weekend sessions available June 18 – July 23: 8:15, 9:15 and 10 a.m.
  • Private Camp Swim by Reservation Only: (June 6 – Aug. 7) Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
