St. Lucie County Hosts COVID Vaccine Myth Buster Town Hall Feb. 4

ST LUCIE COUNTY – St. Lucie County will host a Town Hall COVID-19 Vaccine Myth Buster event on Thursday, Feb. 4 at 6 p.m. in the Commission Chambers of the Roger Poitras Annex of the Administration Complex.

Residents with questions about COVID-19 or the vaccine are welcome to attend in person or virtually as the program will be broadcast via the county’s website, Facebook and SLCTV (Comcast 28/U-Verse 99). Attendance will be limited to less than 50 people to allow for social distancing. Masks and temperature checks are required. For those watching via Facebook Live (www.facebook.com/stluciegov), staff will be fielding questions posted in the comment section to the panel of experts.

The panel for this Town Hall COVID-19 Vaccine Myth Buster is scheduled to include: Florida Department of Health in St. Lucie Administrator Clint Sperber; Dr. Wilhelmina N. Lewis with Florida Community Health Florida Community Health Centers; Dr. Moti Ramgopal with Midway Specialty Care Center and Dr. Fernando Petry, chief medical officer with Cleveland Clinic Martin Health.

The Commission Chambers is located on the third floor of the Roger Poitras Annex of the St. Lucie County Administration Complex, 2300 Virginia Ave. Fort Pierce. For those who aren’t able to attend or watch the town hall live, the program will be available on-demand through the county’s YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/stluciegov) and online atwww.stlucieco.gov/covid-19. Additionally, it will be rebroadcast on SLCTV (Comcast 28/U-Verse 99).
