Spring is here, and Keep Port St. Lucie Beautiful invites residents and community members to join the annual Caring Community Cleanup Day on Saturday, April 30, from 7:30 a.m. to
1 p.m. The event will focus on cleaning up several locations throughout the City.
Volunteers will meet at the MIDFLORIDA Event Center to enjoy a free breakfast provided by Walmart. Water and root beer supplied by Side Door Brewing Company.
What: Entering its 27th year, Caring Community Cleanup Day is designed to inspire pride of place and connect neighbor-to-neighbor for improving the natural environment of Port St. Lucie. In 2021, over 7,460 pounds of litter and recyclables were collected by volunteers. This event is in-person and is open to the public.

When: Saturday, April 30, 2022

Participants can pick up their free T-shirts and litter tools starting at 7:30 a.m. Cleanup begins at 8:30 a.m. Remember to take before-and-after photos before returning to the MIDFLORIDA Event Center to drop off your trash bags. Return between 10 and 11 a.m. for a raffle ticket and a chance to win a prize, interact with exhibitors and receive a free lunch provided by Nature’s Keeper.
Where: MIDFLORIDA Event Center, 9221 SE Event Center Place, Port St. Lucie, FL 34952 Residents and volunteers are encouraged to pre-register at www.CityofPSL.com/cleanup. Volunteers can register online now and provide us with their group’s shirt sizes. Shirts are provided the day of the event on a first-come, first-served, while supplies last. Pre-registration does not guarantee a T-shirt.

Why: Since 2001, Keep Port St. Lucie Beautiful has been beautifying neighborhoods through its Adopt a Street program, which celebrates 30 years of the foundation of neighborhood-oriented government. We are always at the forefront of beautification and urban transformation.

Businesses, HOAs and churches are encouraged to form a group to participate in this year’s Caring Community Cleanup Day, which is part of Keep America Beautiful’s Great American Cleanup program.
Your group facilitator will pre-register your group and submit all T-shirt sizes needed at www.cityofpsl.com/cleanup.
Local schools are encouraged to participate as well. Schools can conduct a cleanup anytime during April. Contact KPSLB to register your school.
Businesses and organizations that are unable to participate in person can conduct a cleanup at their establishment. Join the city-wide cleanup anytime between 9 and 10 a.m. and take photos of your business and organization, helping keep Port St. Lucie clean and beautiful. Photos can be shared on social media and submitted to KPSLB.
