Fort Pierce, Fl (treasurecoast.com)-The St. Lucie County Fire District has reported that multiple people were rescued yesterday in the Ft. Pierce Inlet.

FORT PIERCE Just before 12 noon yesterday, a caller reported several people washed up on the rocks and unable to get back to shore due to the current. Deputies were able to get them into the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office boat and bring them safely to shore where paramedics evaluated their condition. One person was transported by ground.
