Siblings end up in jail after cupcake brawl

Siblings end up in jail after cupcake brawl.

Cupcakes and blue frosting flew as a brawl between a brother and sister ended with both going to jail. Police were called to a Vero Beach home around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday for a disturbance report.

The fight between 24-year-old Latonya Daugherty and 30-year-old Eddie Yaddow erupted over who should discipline Daugherty’s child.

Investigators say Daugherty started the fight by throwing cupcakes at Yaddow from about ten feet away. She hit him in the arm and chest. She told deputies Yaddow wiped the frosting in her hair then kicked her in the stomach, using a martial arts style kick. She’s four to six weeks pregnant. The two started to throw cans of food at each other before things calmed down. Indian River Deputies arrived to find blue frosting in Daugherty’s hair. Daugherty’s mother told deputies she witnessed the melee.
