MARTIN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE IS LOOKING FOR ASSISTANCE IN IDENTIFYING LAW ENFORCEMENT IMPERSONATORS
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office is looking for anyone with information on two black males impersonating a law enforcement officer. The subjects were observed driving a burgundy, newer model, Nissan Maxima, with red and blue emergency flashing lights on the front dash. The two subjects attempted to make a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of High Meadow A…venue in Palm City. The driver is described as a black male, in his early 20’s, large build, wearing a white shirt, and dark pants. The passenger is described as a black male, in his early 20’s, with a short afro-type haircut.
If you are being pulled over, and feel the vehicle behind you is not a law enforcement officer, please call 911 IMMEDIATELY. You should continue driving to a safe area, turn on your flashers, and maintain your speed. Follow the directions of the 911 operator and stay on the line, until they tell you it is safe to hang up or you are with a law enforcement officer.
