Second suspicious incident involving a child in Martin County.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office is alerting  everyone to another suspicious incident. This one  involved an 11-year old boy. It occurred in Jensen Beach just before 9pm on Friday night.

The child reported to deputies that he was fishing at a retention pond behind a pizza shop on NE Linda Drive and NE Sunview Terrace.  He said an unidentified man wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt grabbed him by the arm. The boy was able to break free, jump on his bicycle and ride away. He immediately reported the incident to his parents.

The subject is described to be about 5-6” tall with a skinny build. His race and hair color are unknown. MCSO deputies, K-9 and Aviation units canvassed the area with negative results.

The sheriff’s office is reminding all parents to stay vigilant. Speak to your children about remaining safe.
