A SEAT AT THE MATINEE: BROADWAY AT ITS VERY BEST.
Broadway at its very best! And you can hear the music live. The Stuart Community Concert Band is kicking off their 2017-2018 concert series with a performance titled “A Seat at the Matinee,” a concert that will feature some of the greatest music ever written for Broadway.
“A Seat at the Matinee: Broadway at its Very Best” begins at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 5, 2017, at the Kane Center, located at 900 S.E. Salerno Road. Tickets for this concert are $10.00, but for a price of $40, you can purchase season tickets for all five performances of the Stuart Community Concert Band’s 2017-2018 concert series at the Kane Center. The other four concert dates are Dec. 3, 2017; Jan. 21, 2018; March 18, 2018, and April 22, 2018. Season tickets can still be purchased the day of the concert.

The Broadway concert will feature pieces such as Hello Dolly, The King and I, Phantom of the Opera, The Sound of Music, Les Miserables, The Music Man, and other great selections. This is all timeless music written by renowned composers. It will surely evoke some wonderful memories.
The Stuart Community Concert Band is under the direction of James LeBon and consists of volunteer musicians from all walks of life and of all ages, ranging from high-school music students to octogenarians to one musician who recently turned 90 years old.
They play for the love of music.
The Stuart Community Concert Band has been performing music throughout Martin County for more than 100 years. The band provides an opportunity for volunteer musicians to develop their musical skills and showcase their musical abilities. Everyone is welcome!
