Rock & Roll to the Oxbow

Delight your senses as you discover what rocks, soil and music have in common at the Oxbow Eco-Center’s Pop Rock & Roll on Wednesday, Jan. 18 at 3:30 p.m.

While limestone may seem like nothing more than a plain old rock, this mineral is actually quite an interesting one. Join the Oxbow staff as they explore the amazing qualities of limestone. Come explore and handle a variety of these rocks.

Appropriate for ages 7-12, the cost is $5 per class. Space is limited, so please register early at 772-785-5833 or [email protected].

Located at 5400 NE St. James Drive in Port St. Lucie, the Oxbow Eco-Center is a St. Lucie County Environmental Learning Center encompassing roughly 225 acres along the St. Lucie River. For more information visit www.oxboweco.com.
