According to a preliminary local storm report a brief EF-O Tornado with peak winds 60-65 mph winds touched down in Rio. This happened a little south and west near Mrs Peters Smokehouse.

BASED ON VIDEO AND REPORTS RECEIVED FROM LOCAL
BROADCAST MEDIA, TRAINED SPOTTERS, AND THE PUBLIC, A BRIEF EF-0 TORNADO, WITH PEAK WINDS ESTIMATED AT
60-65 MPH, TOUCHED DOWN IN THE RIO NEIGHBORHOOD AT
APPROXIMATELY 424PM. DAMAGE FROM THIS NEARLY STATIONARY TORNADO CONSISTED OF DOWNED TREE BRANCHES AND FENCES.
