Rescue Pet of the Week: Nena
Palm City, Fla- Nena is an adorable year and half old American Pit Bull Terrier Mix who has been in the care of the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast since July 2017! During her stay with us she has received treatment for heartworms and is now heartworm negative.
Nena loves receiving tummy rubs and will stop, drop, and roll-over immediately if there is even a chance at receiving tummy rubs. She is a sweet girl, loves to cuddle, and very playful. Nena has good house manners that need a little bit of work since she has been here at the shelter so long. She previously lived with other dogs, but can be a bit picky about her dog friends.
In doggie play groups she is absolutely adorable playing tag and chase with the other dogs. She is currently doing well in a foster home that other dogs as well. Nena also adores people of all ages and would most likely do well in a home with young children. Give this sweet gal a chance to wiggle her way into your heart!
