Rescue a pet from local Humane Societies

Rescue a pet from local Humane Societies.

Those looking to adopt a cat, kitten or critter at the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast are in luck. During the month of August, the HSTC is offering free adoptions of all cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and hamsters as part of a partnership with the Best Friends Animal Society’s No More Homeless Pets Network and its “Summer to Save Them All” adoption promotion. Dog adoptions will also be lowered to $20. The Humane Society of the Treasure Coast has nearly 50 critters and more than 200 cats in its care. There also are cats and kittens available for adoption at its two thrift stores in Stuart. Visit HSTC for more information, and to see pictures of available animals.

The Humane Society of St. Lucie will join thousands of rescues nationwide with one goal in mind….to Empty the Shelter!! Join us Saturday, August 19th from 11-5 as we will have Name Your Own Price Adoptions in the hopes of finding every pet in our shelters a loving forever home.
