On 11/22/16 at approximately 7:30 am, an officer conducted a search for Dustin Cruce, a person with active warrants obtained by the IRCSO for giving false information to secondary metals recycler and dealing in stolen property. Cruce was located in a convenience store near CR 512 and Broadway Street and arrested without incident.
After being handcuffed, he disclosed that he had marijuana in his possession and asked if he could toss it in the toilet. When told no, he asked if he could eat it. He was told “no” again and was subsequently charged with misdemeanor possession.
