Put your home on the 2017 #PSLinLights Holiday Map

Join us on Dec. 21 for a #PSLinLights holiday bus tour

PORT ST. LUCIE, FL – Will your dazzling holiday display be named the “Best Lights in Port St. Lucie” this season?  Port St. Lucie’s popular #PSLinLights holiday map is back this year – and we’ve added new elements to help keep PSL merry and bright, including a contest and bus tours.

Last year, more than 50 Port St. Lucie residents put their homes on the #PSLinLights map, making it easy for residents and visitors to find and enjoy PSL’s wonderfully decorated homes.  The 2017 map is now available for this holiday season, and the City of Port St. Lucie is ready to fill it up with photos of residents’ displays.

The City will take your photos and incorporate them in the #PSLinLights interactive map. The map will be updated at the end of each workday throughout the holiday season. Residents and visitors can use the map to plan their holiday light-viewing excursions around the City. Here’s how you can participate:

  • Email photos of your holiday lights display to media@cityofpsl.com or post it to Facebook or Twitter with #PSLinLights. This year, residents also can upload photos and information directly to the PSLinLights webpage at www.cityofpsl.com/pslinlights. Participants must include the home’s address and a note indicating the times the lights are usually turned on. Also, please include any special notes, such as lights that are set to music or if this home is in a gated community.
  • Vote for your favorite display in Port St. Lucie from Jan. 3 to Jan. 7 via an electronic survey found at www.cityofpsl.com/pslinlights. The display with the most votes as of Jan. 8, 2018 will be awarded the 2017 PSLinLights Best Lights in Port St. Lucie at a City Council meeting.
  • Let us do the driving! The City of Port St. Lucie has teamed up with Treasure Coast Connector to host a PSLinLights Holiday Bus Tour event on Dec. 21 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., with bus tours at 7 p.m., 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Visitors will gather outside the Port St. Lucie Community Center, 2195 SE Airoso Blvd., where they can watch the City’s nightly Winter Wonderland Light Show while they wait for a bus tour of several of PSL’s twinkling displays. Enjoy free hot cocoa, cookies, North Pole mailbox and letter writing station, and a visit with Santa. Bus tour participants must RSVP at www.cityofpsl.com/pslinlights beginning Dec. 1 to reserve a spot on a bus. Hurry, space is limited!
