Puppy and Coco HSTC Pets of the Week!

Puppy:

Puppy came to HSTC when her owner passed away. She went from a home she had known her entire life to a stranger’s home. When that home was unable to care for Puppy, she came to us. Her entire life had been turned upside down in the course of a few weeks. At 15 years old, these changes have been very difficult for Puppy. She has somewhat adjusted to life in the shelter and is currently living in the Cat Feature Room with a handful of other cats that she tolerates. Puppy is very opinionated and dislikes many things; she is not an affectionate cat here at the shelter although that may change in a home. She is looking for a calm, quiet home to live out her remaining years.

Coco:

Coco is a 7 years young Labrador Retriever Mix who has been looking for a new home since late September. She originally came to HSTC as a transfer from the Humane Society of Saint Lucie County when we had space to help them by taking several adoptable dogs. While we don’t know much about Coco’s past we do know that she would prefer to be the only pet in the home and does not like cats. Her adoption fee has been sponsored by a very generous donor. You can view Coco and all of her adoptable friends online at hstc1.org.
