PSLPD: Teenager on Bicycle Taken to Hospital After Early Morning Crash
Port St. Lucie, Fl (treasurecoast.com)- The Port St. Lucie Police reported a teenager on a bicycle was taken to the hospital after an early morning crash.
This is what happened:
At 6:40am, PSLPD responded to SW Bellevue Ave/SW Cashmere Blvd for a vehicle crash involving a bicyclist.
A 15-year-old teenager was riding his bicycle to school, northbound on Cashmere Blvd when he was struck in the crosswalk by a vehicle traveling west on Bellevue Ave.
The bicyclist was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle was issued a careless driving citation.
