PSLPD seek man for quick change scam

Port St.Lucie, Fl-Police in Port St Lucie say that a man attempted a quick change scam at a local bank. Quick change scams are common, and involve the scammer making a transaction as confusing as possible in an effort to get more change back than what they are due. In this case, police say a man went into the Seacoast Bank on Gatlin Blvd in Port St Lucie and asked the teller to exchange a stack of $20 bills for $10 bills. He then asked the teller to instead exchange the $20’s for $100 bills. After the suspect left the teller realized that she was shorted $300 in the transaction. Police describe the suspect as a white hispanic male, approximately 5’10”, a stocky build, and with facial hair.
