PSLPD: New Hampshire man arrested for stealing vehicle with Wheelchair Bound Man Inside
Port St Lucie, Fl (treasurecoast.com)- The Port St. Lucie Police have reported that a New Hampshire man has been arrested for stealing vehicle with wheelchair bound man inside.

Backstory
Port St. Lucie, Fl (treasurecoast.com)- At 1:55PM Monday, PSLPD responded to the 900-BLK of SW Bayshore Blvd for a 911 call of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was driven by a group home employee with a nonverbal 55-year-old wheelchair bound man inside. The employee pulled into a convenience store plaza in the 900-BLK of SW Bayshore Blvd and exited the vehicle.
A white male suspect walking by got into the vehicle and drove off with the wheelchair bound man still inside. The vehicle is a 2014 Dodge Caravan with a wheelchair ramp and FL Tag DKBD50. The suspect is a white male, shorts, no shirt, and 30-40 years old. The suspect was last observed driving the vehicle north on Bayshore Blvd.
Update – The vehicle was just found abandoned in the area of SE Floresta Dr and SE Naranja Ave with the victim still inside. The victim is safe and was unharmed. The investigation is active and ongoing at this time.
